Basic Black TV and Berklee team up for Special live streaming Jazz Episode

WGBH’s Basic Black will feature a special jazz episode headlined by Grammy-award winning artist Terri Lyne Carrington this. The program airs an extra half hour of content on Facebook Live.  Hosted by Callie Crossley, WGBH’s Basic Black is the longest is the longest-running program on public television focusing on the interests of people of color

Carrington, who was recently named the Boston Globe’s Jazz artist of the year, will perform with past and present students from Berklee College of Music. Grammy-nominated saxophonist and Berklee professor Tia Fuller and Berklee student Da’Dreion Murrell perform on the program as well.
