Ten regional BIPOC business and cultural leaders in marketing/branding, academia, arts, education, and philanthropy were announced today as sponsors and mentors for a new class of rising young executives through the Network for Arts Administrators of Color/Boston (NAAC Boston).

A press release about NAAC Boston’s Mentorship and Sponsorship Program is available here.

The sponsors and mentors will help guide the ascendant careers of ten local arts administrators through personal meetings and network introductions, shared professional development programs and other opportunities. The program aims to strengthen the regional arts sector by identifying and supporting leaders of color who work in it. This new cohort is the second class of young arts administrators organized by NAAC, which was founded in 2016 and is a program of the research, advocacy and marketing nonprofit ArtsBoston.

Members of the NAAC group, and the new sponsors and mentors are available for interviews. Participants in the program’s previous cohort can speak to its impact on their careers.
