Beauty & haircare shops for women clientele are everywhere in Black Boston. Barbershops are everywhere. Near Nubian Square, you will find barbershops are up on the hill going towards Elliot Square. You can walk there from the bus terminal. Elsewhere in town, Alves is on Dudley Street. Platinum Cuts is on Warren street. Go to the Warren Street Grove Hall area and you’ll see them. They’re at the Seaport District, Cambridge Central Square, The South End; some are on Massachusetts Avenue across from the Christain Science Center and adjacent to the MBTA Orange Line T Stop, there up and down Blue Hill Avenue. Newbury Street has beauty salons owned by people of color.
