Could a a black woman and a Latino male win  the Boston mayor’s race primary election?

Yes, its possible the numbers are suggesting.

In Boston, 198,000 voters are minority and  40,000  are unregistered says Kevin Peterson of the New Democracy Coalition .

He should know because he helped shaped redistricting plans.

So, if experts are right about how many votes it will take to win the primary, the two leading minorities are in.

This was among the topics discussed on the  Basic Black Live: Politics, Scandals, and Legacies  TV  segment on ‘GBH2 last week.
