When Sadiki Kambon speaks, people listen. Kambon often gets what he wants. Today, he wants Roxbury Community College Reggie Lewis Center management people fired and their asses kicked out the door.
When he wanted the “Nubian Square: name draped over the old Dudley Square name, he got it done. He has caused the renaming of streets and parks. He told Library Trustees to name the Roxbury Library Nubian Library. They hâve not done it yet.
Mr. Kambon lead a mass of residents to vote for the city election ballot question about renaming Dudley Square. Thousands voted! The Nubian Square brand name has taken over. Mr. Kambon was photographed huddled with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to sign the official papers that locked in the Nubian Square name.
