SOUL IN THE SQUARE: THE HIGHLAND PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL
Soul in the Square: The Highland Park Music Festival will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 p.m. on the grounds of the First Church in Roxbury, John Eliot Square, Roxbury, MA. This outdoor music fest will feature Brooklyn, New York’s Rich Medina and Roxbury’s own DJ Chris Grant. There will be local artists producing live art, vendors and food trucks. Festival attendees will be able to set out picnic blankets and chairs on the spacious First Church lawn while enjoying musical tributes to some of R&B’s most celebrated artists. A beer, wine and rum garden will be available for anyone 21 years and older. Soul in the Square bridges the musical gap between the Millennials, Generation Y, Generation X and Baby Boomers. This is a FREE event.
