Dudley Square. Nubian Square. Choose the name.
On City of Boston property at the Dudley Square MBTA bus terminal, minority developers are proposing to construct new buildings that will go up in 2021 at an average cost of $80,000,000, which includes $20,000,000 of Boston taxpayer dollars. Plans call for hiring Blacks, minorities and people of color to construct the project.
The PLAN: Dudley Square Project Review Committee (PDPRC), Department of Neighborhood Development (DND), and Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) held previews of developer proposals in response to the recent Request for Proposals (RFP) for city vacant land in Dudley Square.
